A high quality final product and excellent service are what you should expect. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do here. In addition to doing a good job, we strive to make our customers feel good about the service we provide.
Our low shine floors are done with a high-quality commercial grade product. Compared to other products on the market, this two-part mix finish is the most durable. We don't use anything less than the best.
Installation
1000 sq/ft hardwood floor will take up to 3 days to refinish and coat
1000 sq/ft hardwood floor installation will usually take between 5 to 6 days
if your project is 500 sq/ft or less it can usually can be completed in less than 2 days
Preparation
It definitely makes our life easier especially in a tight space like a half bathroom. In some situations, we can refinish around them; if this is the case, please make sure that the toilet base is cleaned.
The fridge and stove can remain in place; however, if you're changing the colour, we recommend removing them. Alternatively, you can have us remove & reinstall them or you can take care of that yourself. We do usually charge for the removing of appliances if you want to make it more budget friendly we recommend removing them yourself.
We can remove and replace the baseboards if you want. If you do leave them in place, there my be minor paint touch ups required.
Refinishing
NO. Gonna be alittle loud during the day but your are able to live in the hose the entire time, there are going to be just a few hours where we will ask you to stay of the floor. Such as, before staining, after water popping, before final coat, and while the finish is drying.
After sanding down the floor to expose the bare wood, we placed a few stain samples as a guide to help us decide what colour to use. The colour can be customized from here.
A high gloss finish is available as well as an ultra flat finish. We are known for our ultra flat finish, which has a long lifespan and requires little maintenance.
1. Floor preparation (remove furniture, baseboards, appliances)
2. make sure the floor is secure and no lose boards
3. Sand sample area for colour confirmation
4. Confirm stain colour/ finish sheen
5. Sand hardwood floor
6. Apply stain (skip if natural)
7. Apply 2-3 top coats of loba finish
8. Buff for final coat
9. Apply final coat
10. Final Inspection

To calculate your quote, we do not use a specific dollar per square foot due to the fact that the final cost of your project will depend on a number of factors. There are various stages to the job, and prices are based on those stages. We make sure that our price aligns with your budget. We can always work something out.
Our company uses Bonan Quick Dry. The product is excellent. We can custom mix base stain colours according to your preference from a good selection of colours available.
Loba manufactures a variety of products that we use for our finish coat. The company has a wide selection of products that can be used in a variety of situations. This type of finish dries quickly and is extremely durable. In general, ultra low shine finishes are the most popular.
